Server logs
Accesses to the web server are logged in order to enable secure operation of the website. Your current IP address, type and version of your web browser, the website from which you reached our site (referrer url) and the time of the page request are also recorded.
This data is stored temporarily to prevent misuse (e.g. attempts to hack the website). The data is also evaluated to identify which other websites our visitors come to us from and what interests our visitors. However, no reference is made to a specific person.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) DPA. Our legitimate interest lies in the protection of our Internet presence and in the improvement of the stability and functionality of our Internet presence.
The data will be deleted again after 30 days at the latest, unless further storage is required for evidential purposes. Otherwise, the data are completely or partially excluded from deletion until the final clarification of an incident.
Cookies
We use cookies to personalize content and ads, to provide social media features, and to analyse traffic to our website.
Some of the cookies are necessary for the operation of the website (registration, language selection).
The legal basis for the cookies required for the operation of the site is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, insofar as these cookie data are processed for the purpose of contract initiation or contract implementation.
The legal basis for the optional cookies is our legitimate interest in improving the functionality of our website or your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
Contract implementation
The data transmitted by you for the use of our range of goods and/or services will be processed by us for the purpose of processing the contract and is required in this respect. Conclusion and processing of the contract are not possible without providing your data.
The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
We delete the data with complete contract processing, but must observe the tax and commercial law retention periods.
Within the scope of contract processing, we pass on your data to the transport company commissioned with the delivery of goods or to the financial service provider, insofar as the transfer is necessary for the delivery of goods or for payment purposes.
The legal basis for the transfer of the data is then Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
Part of our services is an online portal, for the operation of which we process name, email address, access data and, if required for the delivery of messages, a telephone number. Customers can also create additional users in this portal.
As part of our services we monitor the position of GPS trackers. However, these trackers are never assigned to a person and are therefore not subject to the DSGVO.
Contact enquiries / contact possibility
If you contact us via contact form or e-mail, the data you provide will be used to process your request. The provision of the data is necessary for processing and answering your enquiry – without the provision of this data, we cannot answer your enquiry or can only answer it to a limited extent.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) DPA.
Provided that your enquiry has been answered conclusively and the deletion is not opposed by any legal storage obligations, such as for example in the event of any subsequent contract processing, the data relating to your enquiry will be deleted once a year.
Our internet presence uses several (below described) services of Google.
Google is a US company that is contractually bound to offer an equivalent level of data protection for data processing carried out by Google in the USA. This agreement is covered by DSGVO Article 46 3a.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics enables us to understand the interests of our visitors. This involves evaluating which pages are visited and in which order. This data is evaluated statistically. There is no evaluation per IP address (visitor).
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in making our website more and more interesting for our visitors.
Google Fonts
The website uses Google Fonts to display external fonts. When retrieving the fonts Google gets your IP address.
To enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established when our website is called up.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimisation of the presentation of our Internet presence.
Google Maps
The website uses Google Maps and Open Street Map to display maps. When retrieving the fonts Google gets your IP address.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the optimisation of the presentation of our Internet presence.
Online job applications / publication of job advertisements
We offer you the opportunity to apply for a job with us via our website. With these digital applications, your applicant and application data will be collected and processed electronically by us for the purpose of handling the application procedure.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 88(1) DPA.
If an employment contract is concluded after the application procedure, we will store the data you provide during the application process in your personnel file for the purpose of the usual organisational and administrative process – this is, of course, in compliance with the more extensive legal obligations.
The legal basis for this processing is also Article 88(1) DPA.
Rejected applications are deleted once a year. However, the data will not be deleted if the data is required by law, e.g. because of the obligation to provide evidence under the AGG or until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
The legal basis in this case is Article 6(1)(f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the legal defence or enforcement.
If you expressly consent to a longer storage of your data, e.g. for your inclusion in a database of applicants or interested parties, the data will be processed further on the basis of your consent. The legal basis is then Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. However, you can of course revoke your consent at any time in accordance with Art. 7 Para. 3 DSGVO by making a declaration to us with effect for the future.
